Parliament 15 Oct – “Wisut” suggests the House of Representatives investigate audio clips of “The Icon Group” linked to the committee demanding benefits, saying that the House of Representatives ticks that come to take advantage must be dealt with completely, revealing that there is still no report on amnesty at the House meeting this week.

Mr. Wisut Chainarun, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Coalition Parties (Government Whip), said about the House of Representatives meeting that he will not yet consider the agenda of the report of the Special Committee to Study the Study of the Amnesty Act, saying that he has not yet received coordination from the Speaker of the House of Representatives. And which agenda will be brought into the House meeting, we have to listen to the political parties in the whips who will have to discuss first which agenda will be brought into the House meeting.

As for Thursday, October 24, will the parliament meeting be cancelled as the opposition has questioned, since it
is the meeting day after the holiday? Mr. Wisut confirmed that the parliament meeting will not be cancelled on October 24. What is there to be suspicious about? He has already said that the meeting will be held on Thursday and Friday, or October 24-25.

As for the opposition preparing to propose an urgent motion regarding The Icon Group, Mr. Wisut said that there must be discussions first. There must be internal consultations first. As for the pyramid scheme, what will happen will be discussed later.

Regarding the issue of the audio clip appearing about the Icon Group issue that may be linked to the claim to receive benefits in the House committee, Mr. Wisut insisted that the House must seriously investigate and should send it to the police to take action because it damages the reputation of the House.

“Whose voice are you listening to? The reporters smiled. I heard it from the reporters. I don’t remember their voices because I don’t know them. But when they are there, it brings disgrace to the parliament.
From now on, what we see all the time, all the parliament ticks that come to take advantage of the parliament, they must be dealt with. This parliament is a sacred place, a place to make laws and scrutinize the government. Those who come to make money in the parliament, no matter who they are, must be dealt with. Don’t let these people come into the parliament again,” said Mr. Wisut.-319.-Thai News Agency
