The Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG) and the China Coast Guard (CCG) held their first exchange programme on the Party and political affairs in Hanoi on August 27. The programme is of significance as it is the basis for enhancing exchanges, sharing experiences, and accumulating more knowledge and experiences, thereby contributing to better completing assigned tasks. During the programme, which will last until August 30, participants are scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army; attend the talks between the VCG and the CCG; pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum; visit the President Ho Chi Minh relic site; and have a meeting with representatives of the High Command of the Coast Guard Region 1.
