Around 2,000 runners from all over the country ran through the rain to admire the beauty of Sino-European architecture in Phuket Old Town with Doraemon and friends in the early morning. Mr. Narasak Suksomboon, Vice Governor of Phuket, Mr. Phatiyuth Jaisawang, Acting Director of MCOT Public Company Limited, partners in Phuket, Doraemon and friends came to welcome the runners. The atmosphere was filled with smiles and fun.
This Doraemon Run 2024 Thailand by MCOT at PHUKET event, MCOT Public Company Limited, has organized the 4th consecutive event after the Korat event. It is divided into 2 stages: a 5-kilometer fun run and a 10-kilometer mini marathon. The event starts at Saphan Hin Public Park, a beautiful seaside area in the heart of Phuket. Then, runners run through the city to see the beaut
y of Phuket’s old town, the clock tower, Thalang Road, Ranong Road, Phang Nga Road, Chartered Bank, a center of Sino-European architecture, and finish at Saphan Hin Beach to see the beautiful first light of the day. However, today’s event had occasional rain showers, but this was not an obstacle for runners who came to join the event.
In addition, there was a photo spot set up at the event with Doraemon, which attracted a lot of attention from Doraemon fans who came to take photos.
Mr. Phatiyuth Jaisawang, Acting Director-General of MCOT Public Company Limited, invites Doraemon fans to join Doraemon in the running event, which will be the last event of the year in Chiang Mai on November 23 at the Night Safari.
