Nonthaburi, A transgender woman who brutally murdered and burned the body of a student from a famous university in a dormitory in Nonthaburi Province has been arrested. The latest news is that she was found riding a motorcycle and leaving it at Bang Sue Central Station before fleeing.

Progress in the case of Mr. Witsawa, age 22, a first year student at a famous private university, who was murdered and his body burned to conceal the body in a room at a dormitory in Soi Prachachuen, Nonthaburi Province. The incident occurred yesterday evening (7 August). After the incident, Rattanathibet Police Investigation, Nonthaburi Provincial Investigation, and Region 1 Investigation jointly went to the area to urgently track down the perpetrator.

Initially, officers found important evidence, which was the dormitory’s surveillance camera, which recorded images of a suspect who looked like a transgender woman, overweight, wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, and jeans, from the beginning of riding a motorcycle to park in
the parking lot, walking into the dormitory. Then, the deceased was seen waiting at the entrance. They walked back to the front of the elevator, then followed each other into the room together. Before the perpetrator changed his shirt after committing the crime, he ran out of the deceased’s room, returned to ride the parked motorcycle, and escaped towards Phong Phet Intersection.

Today, Pol. Col. Pratana Paenpha, Commander of the Nonthaburi Provincial Police, called a meeting of the investigation team to expedite the pursuit of the perpetrators. He revealed that the case has progressed quite a bit. The police are in the process of identifying the perpetrators. He has ordered the police to investigate and review all CCTV footage. As for the motive, there are several possible causes. The motive is currently being investigated. It may have been an impromptu incident or the two people met and argued at that spot. Or the perpetrators intended to commit the crime. This is being investigated. As for the property, i
t has not yet been investigated to see what is missing because water was sprayed to extinguish the fire in the room. Today, the forensic police have been called in to question them again.

After tracking the CCTV footage along the escape route of the culprit, they found the motorcycle that the culprit rode and abandoned it at Bang Sue Central Station. They brought the motorcycle to the Nonthaburi Forensic Police to examine fingerprints and collect DNA. It was found that the motorcycle was stolen from a villager in Soi Chin Khet, near the scene of the incident. Important evidence was the CCTV footage of the culprit walking past, which was posted to find the culprit. It was later discovered that he was the same culprit who killed and burned the student’s body.

Pol. Col. Phisit Chanthasuwan, Superintendent of Rattanathibet Police Station, revealed that from the investigation to track the perpetrator’s clues, it was found that before the incident, the perpetrator took a backpack and left it at Bang Sue Central S
tation before taking a car to get off at Soi Chin Khet, Thung Song Hong District. Then, he stole a motorcycle that the victim had left the key in and drove it to commit the murder at the dormitory before using the motorcycle as a vehicle to escape back to Bang Sue Central Station again and then took the train to escape. Therefore, he asked for cooperation from the public who have seen the perpetrator to help report any clues about the perpetrator to Rattanathibet Police Station.

The latest investigation has revealed that the perpetrator is a first-year student, approximately 19-20 years old, studying at the same university as the deceased, and is in the process of requesting a court warrant for his arrest.
