Spokesperson for the Health Ministry, Mohammad Syahril, urged the managers of shopping centers, malls, as well as public transport operators to reopen COVID-19 vaccination center services.
“Actually, the government has provided facilities for vaccination, from health centers, clinics, to hospitals. I think it would be great if the stations, airports, malls (provided similar services) as well,” he added.
He said the government needs to pursue the vaccination program again, especially booster vaccinations for the intended recipients.
According to Syahril, efforts to establish vaccination centers would involve all stakeholders, such as the National Defense Force, Police Force, and private entrepreneurs.
“If it is hosted again and information is provided to the public, so that people will also support this vaccination, the number can increase,” he added.
