MOE , 8 Oct. – The Office of the Vocational Education Commission has extended the period for restoration, repair, and assistance services for flood victims in Chiang Rai Province until 22 Oct.

Mr. Yotsapol Wenukoses, Secretary-General of the Vocational Education Commission, revealed that the Office of the Vocational Education Commission has led a team of vocational students to rehabilitate the area in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, with educational institutions in the Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education Office as the main center and educational institutions in nearby areas in the North and Northeast jointly organizing.

The activity ‘Vocational students join together to help the people’ to restore and help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province between 3-7 October 2024 in 2 areas of Mae Sai District: Wat Phasukaram, Ban Mai Lung Khan, and Ban Muang Daeng Community, where Pol. Gen. Phetphun Chidchob, Minister of Education, traveled to encourage the work of vocational volunteer students and saw t
hat the people still need help in restoring their houses, cleaning public areas, and repairing household appliances, agricultural equipment, motorcycles, etc. Therefore, he assigned the Office of the Vocational Education Commission to extend the time to help restore and repair for another 15 days until 22 October 2024.

Restoring the area and providing repair services in 3 main areas: 1. Fix It Center: a repair and construction center for the community, providing repair services for electrical appliances, agricultural equipment, and various tools damaged by floods. 2. Rehabilitation and assistance area: a team of students and personnel working together to restore agricultural areas, houses, and public utilities affected by floods. 3.
