The Prime Minister and Cabinet are preparing to press the Kick Off button tomorrow (25 Sept.) in hopes of stimulating the economy by transferring money through welfare cards and the disabled.
Mr. Pornchai Thiravet, spokesman for the Ministry of Finance, said that tomorrow (25 September) at 09.00 a.m., the Prime Minister and the Cabinet will press the Kick Off button to stimulate the economy in 2024 by transferring money to welfare cardholders and the disabled. The Comptroller General’s Department will start disbursing money to the target group on 25-30 September 2024. Welfare cardholders and the disabled can check their rights and results of receiving money from 24 September 2024 onwards through the specified channels. Those interested can wait to follow and listen to information about the project via live broadcast on the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) and Live on NBT2HD.
If the beneficiary has not received the money during the said period, the beneficiary should link the PromptPay accou
nt with the national ID number and check the bank account to be in normal status (Active) to be ready to receive the money according to the project in the retry payment cycle. For the disabled person whose disabled ID card has expired or the disabled allowance recipient who does not have a disabled ID card, they must renew the disabled ID card or complete the disabled ID card within the following timeframe:
Retry payment round: Pay within the date of making a card or renewing a disabled ID card within the date of linking the PromptPay account with the national ID number within the date of the 1st time: 10 October 2024, 18 October 2024, 22 October 2024, 2nd time: 12 November 2024, 18 November 2024, 22 November 2024, and 3rd time: 3 December 2024, 16 December 2024, and 22 December 2024.
After the third transfer deadline, the payment to the target group will stop and the target group will be considered as not wishing to receive the money under the project.
