The Treasury Department collected revenue in fiscal year 2024 at a record high of 14,378 million baht, exceeding the target by 125%.

Mr. Phao Bhum Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, revealed that the Treasury Department’s revenue collection in fiscal year 2024 was 14,378 million baht, out of the annual estimate of 11,500 million baht, or 2,878.712 million baht more than the target, accounting for 125.03% of the annual estimate, which is considered the highest in the Treasury Department’s history. He has given a policy to manage Crown Property by increasing the area for utilization by 10% and increasing the return on assets ROA in commercial leases in the target group by 3%, which is currently 1.1%. For 2025, the revenue collection target has been increased to 16,000 million baht, in order to follow the 5-year plan or 2023-2027, with a total revenue collection of 55,000 million baht.

Mr. Chamnan Phoyod, Director-General of the Treasury Department, further revealed details that it is the collection of
revenue for the fiscal year 2024 during the period of October 1, 2023 – September 23, 2024, consisting of the collection of revenue from the Crown Property mission and the collection of revenue from the coin mission.

Revenue from the Crown Property Mission, totaling 13,442.615 million baht, or 125.63 percent, came from normal revenue from Crown Property Rental of 10,601.717 million baht and special revenue of 3,776.995 million baht, such as land expropriation for the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) electric train project, compensation for the burden on the MRTA’s real estate, contract renewal from additional rental fees and contract renewal fees of Thailand Post Co., Ltd., land expropriation for the high-speed train project connecting the airport, auction of assets that became state property according to the court’s judgment, and revenue sharing from Chao Phraya International Port Co., Ltd.

For the collection of revenue from the coin mission, the revenue was 936.097 milli
on baht, or 117.01 percent of the annual estimate, from normal revenue of 743.597 million baht and special revenue of 192.500 million baht.
