Bangkok, July 1 – February: Police set to rule on appeal against dismissal order of ‘Big Joke’ next week after receiving 290 additional pages of documents.

Mr. Thawatchai Thai Khiew, a member of the Police Ethics Protection Committee or the Police Ethics Protection Committee and deputy spokesman of the Police Ethics Protection Committee, posted a message on his Facebook page ‘Thawachchai Thai Khiew’ regarding the case where the Police Ethics Protection Committee had scheduled a meeting to consider the appeal of the order to temporarily dismiss Pol. Gen. Surachet Hakpal and the National Police Chief, stating that Samartchai Wisalaphon, the chairman of the Police Ethics Protection Committee, had called a meeting of the Police Ethics Protection Committee to consider the appeal case continuously, with all 6 committee members attending the meeting.

As it appears that the parties have submitted more than 290 pages of written statements and more than 2 hours of oral statements to the NCC, together with more than 3
00 pages of appeals, counter-appeals, explanations, and other evidence that the NCC obtained from the fact-finding process earlier, therefore, when all the information is reviewed, in order to be fair to the parties, the NCC must carefully consider and make a decision in accordance with the law and facts.

Therefore, the Police Commission believes that this case can be considered and a decision can be made, along with sending the decision to both parties to be informed at the address that each party has informed the Police Commission within the next week.
