The Air Force opens its doors to the public to join activities to welcome Olympic athletes. The atmosphere is lively.

Air Chief Marshal Panpakdee Pattanakul, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, presided over the ‘Honoring Air Force Athletes Who Won the 2024 Olympic Games’ activity at the front lawn of the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters to welcome and congratulate the Air Force athletes who won a total of 3 Olympic medals. On this special occasion, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Royal Thai Air Force also opened its doors to welcome the public to join the congratulatory activities for the athletes, including a float parade, taking selfies with the athletes, and fun cheering activities by Tua Rae Chernyim and Drum Zeed, the Royal Thai Air Force Band. Students from schools located around the Royal Thai Air Force in Don Mueang District, such as Ritthiyawannalai School 1 and 2, Don Mueang Air Force Bamrung School, and Siam Business Administration Technology College, Saphan Mai Campus (SBAC), also
joined the event in large numbers.

Meanwhile, Air Force personnel who received Olympic medals in 2024 include Flight Lieutenant Panipak Wongpattanakit, gold medal in taekwondo, Mr. Wiraphon Wichuma, silver medal in weightlifting, and Flight Sergeant Chanchaem Suwanpheng, bronze medal in amateur boxing.
