PM says he just found out there was a rally in front of Government House, doesn’t answer whether he was distracted or not, reveals he has received a report on the flood situation in Phayao.

Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, walked down from Thai Khu Fah Building to chair the first cabinet meeting, with Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Paopum Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, Ms. Manoporn Charoensin, Deputy Minister of Transport, Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, and it is notable that Mr. Jirayu Huangsap walked with the Prime Minister, with rumors that Mr. Jirayu will be the Prime Minister’s spokesman.

While the Prime Minister was walking from Thai Khu Fah Building to Building 1, there were sounds from the protesters of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), and the Dharma Army who were gathering at the foot
of Chamai Maruchet Bridge in front of Government House. The media asked the Prime Minister if he was not distracted by the protesters in front of Government House. The Prime Minister asked back, “What is it? I didn’t hear anything.” The Prime Minister then put his left hand up to cover his ear before saying, “I just heard it when the media asked.”

When asked if he had received a report on the flood situation in Phayao Province, the Prime Minister said he had received a report and that the water level had gone down. At first, students were trapped but now they have all been rescued. The water level has decreased to about the width of their shins.

As for the water management plan for foreign countries, how has it been coordinated? The Prime Minister said that after the Cabinet meeting, he will provide more details.
