The Prime Minister ordered the Ministry of Public Health to set up a team to provide mental health care in the event of a fire on a field trip vehicle.

The Prime Minister rushed to visit students and teachers at the incident command center to give encouragement before sending them home. He ordered the Ministry of Public Health to organize a medical team to take care of their mental health, while “Chada-Sabida” set up a mental health center in Uthai Thani Province.

Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra left Rangsit Hospital to go to the temporary command center opposite the National Memorial to visit and give moral support to students and teachers who were not injured in the fire incident involving a school bus carrying students from Uthai Thani Province who were on a field trip to Bangkok, which is near the scene of the incident. Due to traffic congestion, the Prime Minister got out of the car to walk across the skywalk to the evacuation center, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, Education Minister Pol. Gen. Permpoon Chidchob, and Supreme Commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Songwit Noonpakdee, who were alrea
dy in command of the situation.

As soon as the Prime Minister arrived, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army reported on the situation of the care for the injured students and teachers, preparing to send them back to Uthai Thani Province before the Prime Minister visited the children and teachers staying at the shelter.

After visiting to give encouragement to the Prime Minister, he briefly stated that encouragement must be given, while Mr. Anutin reported that relevant ministers had come to take care of and coordinate the order.

Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, reported to the Prime Minister that the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has officers to take care of each family. The Prime Minister asked if there were psychiatrists and if there were enough. Mr. Varawut said that there were both doctors and multidisciplinary teams from Uthai Thani, Sing Buri, Suphan Buri, and Chainat.

Thepsuthin to arrange a medical team to take care of the mental health of both children and teachers who were in the incident, not just the car that caused the accident, but also the entire group, as some of them are siblings. They must be taken care of separately between children and adults, including their families in Uthai Thani Province.

The Prime Minister then walked up the skywalk to get in his car and return, assigning relevant agencies to provide details of the incident and having the Ministry of Transport take care of sending the injured back.

Reporters reported that Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Deputy Minister of Interior and Mr. Chada Thaiset, MP for Uthai Thani, Bhumjaithai Party, as the owner of the area, who are monitoring the situation at the temporary incident command center, revealed that at this time, Uthai Thani Province, through the provincial governor, has set up an incident command center to wait to receive teachers and students for further care.
