The Palang Pracharath Party welcomes Atthawich to strengthen the party’s strategic team.


“Pirapan-Ekanat” led the team to welcome “Attawich Suwannaphakdi” to join the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, strengthening the party’s strategic team, moving forward with the energy reform law.

Mr. Pirapan Salirathavipak, leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, along with Mr. Ekkanat Promphan, secretary-general of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, MPs and members of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party welcomed Mr. Atthawich Suwannaphakdi, who became a member of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, at the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party headquarters in Phaya Thai District, Bangkok.

Mr. Attawit Suwannaphakdee is a politician with expertise in law and finance. He used to work for the Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance. He has many outstanding achievements, such as the restructuring of public debt, the regulation of personal loan interest rates to be at 28 percent per year, the regulation of the credit card business, and the merger of the Industrial Finance Corporation, TMB Bank, and DBS Thai Thanu Bank. He also drafted
laws as a member of the Special Committee to consider many laws and is a former MP for Bangkok for 2 terms.

Mr. Phiraphan Salirathavipak said that Mr. Atthawich came to help with the energy structure reform at the ministry, reducing the steps for requesting permission for solar energy, allowing people to access it at a low price. Therefore, he invited him to be a party member to work on developing and proposing party laws related to people’s livelihoods, which will strengthen the party’s legislative work. As for the credit bureau reform law that Mr. Atthawich initiated and signed with the public sector, the party’s MPs will fully support it.
