Mr. Wisut Chainarun, MP for the Pheu Thai Party list and chairman of the Government Coalition Coordination Committee (Government Whip), gave an interview about the parliament meeting that on July 17, there will be an agenda to consider the draft bill on the additional budget for fiscal year 2024, B.E. …, with a budget of 122 billion baht to be used in the economic stimulus project through digital wallet top-ups. The debate time will be 11 hours, divided into 5 hours for opposition MPs, 3 hours for government MPs, 2 hours for the cabinet, and 1 hour for the chairman of the meeting. He believes that the debate will not be a problem, even though the details of the project still have to wait for the government to announce the clear details on July 24.

The government is ready to listen to suggestions from all parties, including the opposition, in order to make improvements to make them more appropriate and beneficial to the people. It must be acknowledged that the consideration of the draft bill will be an expressway that will bring money to the hands of people who need capital to start a career and support the household economy, such as buying agricultural equipment. Mr. Wisut also said that the Pheu Thai Party has prepared its MPs for the debate. In the past, they have intensively trained the debaters to explain to the public so that they understand. As for the consideration of this agenda, it is expected that Mr. Settha Thavisin, the Prime Minister, will join the meeting. The proposal of this draft law is an agenda of the government that the Minister of Finance can come to explain.
The government whip also said that the consideration of the draft bill is an urgent age

Therefore, after the House accepts the principle, it will be set to take 2 days to amend the motion and the special committee will expedite the consideration to be completed as soon as possible because the details of the law are not complicated, only the request for an additional budget of 122 billion baht from the central budget.
