Mr. Somkid Cheukong, Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, spoke about the case in which the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Nattawut Saikua to be an advisor to the Prime Minister to look after politics. He may also be asked to help coordinate with the protesters. He said that they have not discussed whether Mr. Nattawut will come to help him take care of the mob or not. They have to wait for the Prime Minister to return from Laos first. However, if he comes to help mediate the mob, that would be good because Mr. Nattawut is a former mob member and is considered a professional in this matter. He must be asked to take care of and talk to the mob.
When asked if it was a set-up for Nattawut Saikua to compete with Jatuporn Prompan, who is an old friend from the NPU era, Somkid said that they could talk to each other b
ecause they are all friends.
