Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth Temiyawes, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, has denied rumors that he will be appointed deputy prime minister in Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra’s cabinet. He stated that he has not been approached. Even if he has been approached, he is not interested. He still stands by his position that he announced yesterday (August 29) about withdrawing from the coalition government and acting as an independent opposition party to check and balance the government. He also believes that Paethongtarn’s government will not contact him because the discussion period and the formation of the cabinet have already passed.
