Secretary-General of the Council of State” revealed that he has not yet seen the list of ministers from each party whose qualifications must be checked, emphasizing that consideration will be made according to the Constitutional Court’s ruling, jokingly saying that if anyone made a promise and went back on their word, they would all be punished.

Mr. Pakorn Nilpraphun, Secretary-General of the Council of State, said about each political party’s submission of a list of ministers to examine the qualifications of the ministers that he has not seen whether each party has submitted more than the quota or not. Mr. Pakorn said that he has not seen the list yet.

As for the examination of the qualifications of ministers, what must be stricter? Mr. Pakorn said that he looked at the legal issues and the issues raised by the Office of the Cabinet Secretary (OCSC), and that was all. He was not yet sure who the names would be sent because he had not seen the names yet.

When asked again how broad the ethical principles a
re and what their scope is, Mr. Pakorn laughed and said that it would probably follow the Constitutional Court’s ruling.

When asked whether this includes cases of people who made promises and then went back on their word or lied, would fall under the conditions, Mr. Pakorn laughed and said that if that was the case, everyone would be affected. As for whether there would be people who would not be spared, Mr. Pakorn said that he had not seen the names of those who were involved.
