Chanthaburi: S.P.S.T. is set to organize the largest national academic conference on health education, physical education, and recreation this year on November 27-29 in Chanthaburi. The conference will be held at the New Travel Lodge Hotel and is expected to attract significant attention from educational and health professionals across the nation.
According to Thai News Agency, the event will commence on November 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. with an opening ceremony presided over by Mr. Montisit Paisanthanawat, the governor of Chanthaburi Province. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Kanungsukkesom, President of the Health Education, Physical Education and Recreation Association of Thailand, will serve as the event’s reporter. The opening ceremony will feature the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions in various fields, followed by a special lecture by Emeritus Professor Dr. Worasak Pienchob.
In the afternoon, Dr. Charoenporn Thoranin will deliver a lecture on the development of physic
al education learning management, followed by a discussion on integrating physical activities into higher education curricula. The session will include insights from representatives of several universities and a lecture by Dr. Pichet Wanthong on the promotion of teachers at the OBEC level. The day will conclude with the association’s annual general meeting and a reception.
On November 28, attendees will hear from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wasana Kunna-Aphisit on curriculum management in basic education institutions and Mr. Boonkla Sawangsaeng on promoting physical activity in communities. The afternoon will feature a lecture on the role of artificial intelligence in organizing physical activities, led by Mr. Jinpasakorn Sripinpao, and discussions on organizing physical activities in schools.
The conference will conclude on November 29 with presentations of academic works in various fields related to health and physical education. The closing ceremony will be led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Kanungsukkesom. Interested
