Bangkok, “Anutin”, Minister of Interior, leads the rehearsal of the procession inviting the golden, silver, and gold Phra Tao Pathum Nimit to be presented to His Majesty the King on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, presided over the rehearsal ceremony of the royal procession, which consisted of the representative of the Prime Minister, the representative of the President of the National Assembly, the representative of the President of the Supreme Court, 9 people, the executives of the Ministry of Interior, the governors of all provinces, and the representative of the Bangkok governor, inviting the golden, silver, and gold Phra Tao Pathum Nimit, which contained holy water from the holy water blessing ceremony, from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangklararm Ratchaworamahawihan (Wat Pho), with the golden Phra Tao Pathum Nimit invited by the representative of the P
rime Minister, the silver Phra Tao Pathum Nimit invited by the representative of the President of the National Assembly, and the silver Phra Tao Pathum Nimit invited by the representative of the President of the Supreme Court, along with a flower tray, incense sticks, and candles, to the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace. The atmosphere during the rehearsal was orderly, grand, elegant, and befitting His Majesty. Although it rained throughout the rehearsal, it was not a problem for the procession. The rehearsal continued. The procession began at Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangklaram in front of the Territorial Defense Command at 11.09 a.m., entered Witsanuchaisri Gate at 11.31 a.m., passed Phimanchaisri Gate at 11.34 a.m., and arrived at Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace at 11.36 a.m. The delegation then invited the three Phra Tao Pathum Nimit statues to the Phusamala officers of the Royal Palace Bureau to be placed on the lotus pedestal in front of Phra Wisut. The three delegations
then invited the flower trays, incense sticks, and candles to be placed on the lotus pillars in order before the delegation and executives of the Ministry of Interior entered the audience to receive the royal blessing. At the same time, the representatives of the Bangkok governor and the governors of all provinces invited the golden and silver flower trays to pay homage in front of the portrait of His Majesty the King before entering the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall to join the audience. On the occasion of the grand audience, His Majesty received auspicious blessings. The rehearsal ended at 11.45 a.m.

For the three Phra Tao Pathum Nimit, gold, naga and silver, they will be filled with holy water from every province that has undergone a holy water blessing ceremony on July 25 (2567) from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangklararm and will be presented to His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2567 for good fortune according to the beliefs of ancient
royal ceremonies and to express the loyalty of civil servants and all groups of people to the monarchy and the Chakri Dynasty.

On the same occasion, Mr. Anutin took the opportunity to pay homage to the Emerald Buddha or the Emerald Buddha in the Ubosot of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram in the Grand Palace for good fortune.
