Pol. Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, said about the collection of signatures to oppose the revocation of the area of ????Thap Lan National Park, which overlaps with the people’s land, more than 260,000 rai, that currently, a public hearing is being held by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, which will be completed within 30 days. The area in question is approximately 50,000 rai of villagers’ land. This part will primarily take care of the villagers. The figure of 260,000 rai is the entire area of ????Thap Lan National Park, not all farmland being returned.
