Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police announces the results of the arrest of a drug gang in Thonburi who used their house as a warehouse to store drugs for sale to local retailers, seizing over 1.7 million pills as evidence.

Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanphet, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, along with Pol. Lt. Gen. Samran Nuanma, Assistant Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, announced the results of the investigation of the Metropolitan Police Bureau Division 8, which jointly arrested Mr. Wutthachai or Noey Rungruangraksa, aged 28, along with evidence of 1,700,000 methamphetamine pills, 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine, and a Toyota car used to store drugs in front of a house in the Thung Khru area of ??Bangkok.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Samran revealed that the Metropolitan Police Bureau Investigation Unit 8 investigated from the small-time dealers of the Pracha Uthit gang in the Thonburi area and investigated and expanded to the source of the drugs until they found out that the
re was a large drug network that secretly distributed drugs in the Rat Burana-Thung Khru area. It was a group of teenagers who gathered to secretly receive a large amount of drugs and hide them in house number 637, Thung Khru District. Mr. Wutthachai or Noey was responsible for receiving, hiding, and delivering the drugs. Therefore, they have been investigating and following their behavior. When they make the arrest, they will expand the investigation to investigate and seize the assets of the suspects.

Later on July 29, the commander ordered the Metropolitan Police Bureau Investigation Unit 8 to monitor the situation by deploying forces around the house. They found Mr. Wutthachai opening the front door of the house. Mr. Wutthachai then walked to the Toyota car and seemed to drive the car out of the house. The arresting officers identified themselves as police officers and requested to search the car. They found 1,700,000 methamphetamine pills and 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine hidden inside the car.
