Pol. Gen. Patcharawat refuses to answer about Lt. Col. Thammanat being removed from the cabinet, says the person who set it is the Prime Minister, shifts questions to “Santi” who did not answer about “Big Pom” picking up the phone to clear things up with “Thaksin”, extinguishing rumors of a cabinet without “Wongsuwan”

Pol. Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwon, acting deputy prime minister and acting minister of natural resources and environment, in his capacity as chief advisor to the leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, spoke about the nomination of individuals within the party to be ministers, saying that the names had been submitted, but he did not know whether they would remain silent or not. As for whether Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, minister of agriculture and cooperatives, in his capacity as party secretary, he did not know whether he would lose his ministerial position or not.

When asked again whether this cabinet will have a strict qualifications check, which resulted in Lt. Col. Thammanat being removed f
rom the ministerial position due to an old case, Pol. Gen. Patcharawat said that he was not aware.

When asked if he had spoken with party leader Prawit Wongsuwan, Pol. Gen. Patcharawat said that they had only talked about this, nothing more, and that the list of ministerial candidates for the party had been forwarded through Deputy Public Health Minister Santi Promphat, who is also deputy party leader. He said he did not know and that he would have to ask Santi.

When asked about the news that the Paethongtarn 1 cabinet would not accept anyone with the surname Wongsuwan, did General Prawit have a phone call to clear things up with former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra? Pol. Gen. Patcharawat said that he was not aware.
