“Paethongtarn” sheds tears after learning of the fire on a school bus carrying students. Initial reports indicate that several people were injured and died.
After the press conference announcing the results of the cabinet meeting, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, went up to receive the additional meeting report. After that, before the Prime Minister traveled to follow up on the water management guidelines of the Royal Irrigation Department in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, she walked down to the front of Building 1. The media asked if she was aware of the incident of a field trip vehicle of students from a kindergarten in Uthai Thani Province that caught fire.
Ms. Paethongtarn did not answer any questions from the media, only nodding and crying the whole way before walking up to the Thai Khu Fah building.
It was reported that Ms. Paethongtarn had ordered the relevant deputy prime ministers to visit the area, including Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, deputy prime minister and minister of
the interior, and Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, deputy prime minister and minister of transport, as well as Ms. Sabida Thaiset, deputy minister of the interior, who is from Uthai Thani province, the same hometown as the school children in the car.
