Pickup truck drives through rain, crashes into median, seriously injured

CCTV captured the moment when a pickup truck drove through the rain at high speed, lost control, hit the median strip, bounced off and hit another car that was following behind.

This accident occurred at 8:40 p.m. last night (September 20). After the incident, the police officers from Chonburi City Police Station and the Trai Khunnatham Rescue Foundation immediately went to the scene after receiving a report that a pickup truck had crashed into the median strip, with the driver trapped in the vehicle at the U-turn point in front of the 21st Artillery Camp in Na Pa Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chonburi Province. They went to inspect the scene and provide assistance. They found a man stuck in the pickup truck with the console crushing his legs and preventing him from getting out. The rescuers used cutting and prying equipment to help. It took 20 minutes to transport the injured man to Chonburi Hospital.
