Government House, 15 Oct. – “Pichai” reveals that after the EEC board revised the contract for the high-speed train connecting 3 airports, they asked to wait and see the opinions of each ministry first. It is expected to enter the cabinet in 2 weeks.

Mr. Pichai Chuanhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, as Chairman of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Committee, revealed the timeline for the Cabinet’s consideration of the amendment of the contract for the high-speed rail project connecting 3 airports (the contract for the high-speed train for 3 airports: Don Mueang – Suvarnabhumi – U-Tapao) after the EEC board revised the contract, saying that the current timeline requires the relevant agencies to review it first, which normally takes about 2 weeks, plus or minus, before it can be submitted to the Cabinet meeting.

When asked further about the details of the contract that have been changed and amended in any part, Mr. Pichai said that he would not disclose the details and would like to s
ee the opinions of each ministry first.
