“Paethongtarn”, Prime Minister, wearing a blue dress, along with “Phumtham-Sutin-Suriya”, Pheu Thai core leaders, paying respects at the City Pillar Shrine-Wat Phra Kaew for good luck and auspiciousness before assuming the role of Prime Minister.

At 9:00 a.m., Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, traveled to pay homage to the City Pillar Shrine to enhance her auspiciousness. She was welcomed by Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, acting on behalf of the Prime Minister, Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Transport, Mr. Suthin Khlangsaeng, Minister of Defense, and Mr. Surawong Thienthong, Secretary-General of the Pheu Thai Party.

When the Prime Minister arrived, he paid homage to the Buddha image and the relics of the Lord Buddha, then paid homage to the replica of the City Pillar and tied a three-colored silk cloth on the replica of the City Pillar before paying homage and laying a garland to the City Pillar and paying homage to the five guardian deities
at the shrine of the guardian deity of the day of birth, as well as filling the lamp with oil for the Buddha of the day of birth, which the Prime Minister was born on a Thursday, and filling the lamp with oil in the basin to ward off bad luck.

The officers gave a replica of the City Pillar Shrine as a souvenir and wished him a ‘Happy Birthday’ before the Prime Minister and his entourage walked out to take a group photo in front of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram and walked to Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram to pay homage to the Emerald Buddha, the guardian Buddha of Thailand, for good fortune.

Reporters reported that while the Prime Minister was walking from the City Pillar Shrine to Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, reporters asked how he felt walking among two defense ministers, as there were rumors that Mr. Phumtham would become the defense minister. The Prime Minister laughed happily but did not say anything.

While walking, people greeted the Prime Minister saying, ‘I am very happy to see you personally
elected.’

Reporters reported that on this day, the Prime Minister wore a navy blue suit, and today, a blue shirt is considered an auspicious color that enhances work, while some ministers also wore blue shirts.-
