Phuket: NBTC joins hands with 3 telecommunications operators to test the Cell broadcast system’s warning system in Phuket Province before it is actually used in the second quarter of next year to enhance all forms of emergency warning and create safety for people nationwide.
According to Thai News Agency, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) collaborated with three major telecommunications operators to conduct a trial of the Cell broadcast system in Phuket Province. This initiative aims to bolster emergency warning capabilities and ensure public safety across the nation.
The Cell broadcast system is designed to disseminate alerts and warnings efficiently to the public during emergencies. By partnering with telecommunications operators, NBTC seeks to develop a reliable and comprehensive warning mechanism that can be deployed swiftly in times of need.
