Miscellaneous

The Meteorological Department revealed that the lower North, upper Northeast, upper Central, and Eastern regions will still have heavy rain in some areas. As for Bangkok and its vicinity, there will be a 60% chance of thunderstorms.

The Meteorological Department forecasts that in the next 24 hours, Thailand will see less rain, but there will still be heavy rain in some areas of the lower North, upper Northeast, upper Central, and Eastern regions. People in the aforementioned areas should be careful of the dangers of heavy rain and accumulated rain, which may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially on hillsides near waterways and lowlands. This is because the rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening, while there is a low-pressure cell over northern Vietnam.

For the waves in the upper Andaman Sea, they are starting to weaken with waves about 2 meters high. For the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, waves are 1-2 m
eters high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves are higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the aforementioned areas are advised to sail with caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.

In addition, the tropical storm “Shanshan” SHANSHAN is covering the southern part of Japan. Those who plan to travel to the area should check the weather conditions before traveling. This storm will not affect the weather in Thailand.

Bangkok and its vicinity will have thunderstorms in 60 percent of the area. Minimum temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 32-35 degrees Celsius.
