The Meteorological Department forecasts the weather for the next 24 hours: The North will experience heavy rain in some areas, while the Northeast, Central, and Eastern regions will experience heavy rain in some areas. People in these areas should be aware of the dangers of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulated rain, which may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially on hillsides near waterways and lowlands. This is because the relatively strong southwest monsoon blowing over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the upper Gulf of Thailand is starting to weaken to moderate strength, while a low-pressure cell weakening from the depression ‘Yagi’ is covering Laos and northern Vietnam.

For waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gu
lf of Thailand, they are starting to weaken with waves approximately 2 meters high. In areas with thunderstorms, the waves will be higher than 2 meters. As for the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf of Thailand, the waves will be 1-2 meters high. In areas with thunderstorms, the waves will be higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the aforementioned areas are advised to sail with caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.

Bangkok and its vicinity will have thunderstorms in 40 percent of the area. Minimum temperature 27-29 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 33-36 degrees Celsius.
