MEA mobilized staff to resolve the incident of a van crashing into an electric pole on Sri Burapha Road. The latest update is that power has been restored to all points.

Today (July 6, 2024), MEA or the Metropolitan Electricity Authority mobilized officers from various Metropolitan Electricity Authority districts to go to the area to fix a van that hit an electric pole that fell on Sri Burapha Road on the night of July 5, causing damage to the pole, electric wires, and public property. MEA has been working hard to resolve the situation since the incident, by dismantling the fallen electric pole and installing new poles to expedite the installation of power lines. As of 2:30 p.m., power has been restored to normal in all areas. We apologize to those affected.
