“Lawyer Aun Buriram” insists NACC investigates “Anutin-Chaichanok” for possessing Khao Kradong land, indicating ethical violations, risking dismissal from position, warns “Paethongtarn” may face repercussions if appointed as minister.

Mr. Phatthapong Suphaksorn or Lawyer Aun Buriram traveled to submit a letter to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to investigate the ethical standards of Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, and Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, secretary-general of the Bhumjaithai Party, regarding the case of overlapping land ownership in Khao Kradong.

Mr. Phattarapong said that today he came to ask the NACC to investigate the qualifications and disqualifications of the two individuals holding political positions. This matter is important, especially those who will hold ministerial positions must comply with the law completely and not seriously violate ethical standards as stipulated by the constitution. In the case of the land at Khao Kradong Intersection, Tambon Sa
met, Amphoe Mueang, Buriram Province, the court ruled that the land belongs to the State Railway of Thailand, which is public land. Therefore, he would like to investigate whether the two individuals reside on the land or not, and if they reside on the land, is it considered a violation of ethical standards?

Mr. Pattarapong also said that in the case where the Constitutional Court ruled that Mr. Settha Thavisin was removed from the position of Prime Minister, it is a standard set by the court. If he is on the land without being required to stay, he must also be removed. He confirmed that no one hired him to come to complain today. If he did not do it today, no one would dare to come. Anyone who has a title deed to occupy Khao Kradong land at this time will be considered to be involved because it is something that is illegal.

‘The truth must have been known or should have been known since the day the Supreme Court made its ruling, which was a big news story last year. If Mr. Anutin claims that he is the real
owner but is legally in possession, he must give up his rights before becoming a minister. I am looking for a solution for Mr. Anutin. I do not know when the cabinet will be appointed, but I ask him to give up his rights. And I must tell everyone I know to give up all their rights to Khao Kradong. If not, there will be bad karma for those involved, including Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, and her father, if they insist on appointing Mr. Anutin as a minister
