Landslide covers the Ban Bon Nam Ron-Suan Dok Mai road in Betong District, Yala Province. Large trees fell across the road, causing power outages and communications failures.

Landslide on the Ban Bon Nam Ron – Suan Dok Mai road, Village No. 2, Ta Nae Marae Subdistrict, Betong District, Yala Province, and a large tree, about 5-6 people wide, fell and blocked the road. Villagers had to walk across. Tourist vehicles traveling to Suan Muen Buppha or the Royal Initiative Winter Flower Garden had to turn around and use the Suan Dok Mai – Piya Mit Tunnel route, which is a detour of more than 10 kilometers. In addition, electricity and communication systems were down and could not be used.

The Department of Rural Roads, the Provincial Electricity Authority, and related agencies are now sending officials and equipment to urgently fix and provide assistance. It is expected that the road will be back to traffic this evening.
