Thrilling incident in Samut Songkhram Entire houses collapsed into the Mae Klong River. The homeowner suffered a head injury and was electrocuted. Neighbors rushed to help and took him to the hospital.

A surveillance camera captured the incident near the house on the banks of the Mae Klong River in Mueang District, Samut Songkhram Province at approximately 7:00 p.m. The clip shows a loud bang, which is the sound of the entire house collapsing into the river. Neighbors who heard the sound rushed to help. After that, Mr. Pichai Minakorn, 58 years old, wearing a red shirt, who is the owner of the house, can be seen walking out carrying belongings before going back in again and coming out again wearing a blue shirt because his clothes were wet. He then sits holding his head because of the impact. Neighbors called rescue workers from the Sawang Benchamat Foundation to rush him to Somdej Phra Phutthaloetla Hospital.

Mr. Asawin Channak, 51 years old, a neighbor said that around 7 p.m. he heard a loud bang. So he
hurriedly ran out to see. Found that Mr. Phichai Ducking out of the ruins of the house and was slightly sucked by a wire that fell into the water Fortunately, he hurried to cut off the electricity in time. And it is a period of low tide and stillness. Or as the villagers call it Nam Death If it was high tide, the water would be more than 2 meters higher than before. It is thought that if that were the case, Mr. Pichai might drown or be electrocuted to death.

From the initial investigation, it was found that Mr. Pichai lived alone in the house. Before the incident, he was resting in the house when suddenly the house collapsed. The cause is believed to be due to the old condition of the house, along with the damaged pillars planted in the Mae Klong River, causing the pillars to break and the house to collapse. The authorities will investigate the cause and provide assistance
