on this auspicious occasion.
After that, General Prawit Wongsuwan, President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand under Royal Patronage, presided over the award ceremony and luncheon to congratulate athletes, coaches, sports associations and officials who participated in the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris, France, from 26 July 2024 to 11 August 2024, with a total of 206 countries participating in the competition.
In this competition, the Thai athletes were able to win 1 gold medal from Flight Lieutenant Panipak Wongwattanakit (taekwondo), 3 silver medals from Police Sergeant Kunlavut Wititsan (badminton), Mr. Theeraphong Silachai (weightlifting) and Mr. Wiraphon Wichuma (weightlifting) and 2 bronze medals from Flight Sergeant Chanchaem Suwanphen (boxing) and Ms. Surjana Khambao (weightlifting), for a total of 6 medals.

cials on behalf of all Thais to encourage them for their dedication in training until they were eligible to participate in the Olympics this time. Many associations have achieved satisfactory results and made other countries see the potential of the Thai national athletes. The Thai athletes have also been able to maintain their standards in world-class sports competitions beautifully and have also built a reputation for receiving the most medals, ranking first among ASEAN countries. In particular, the achievements of ‘Nong Tennis – Coach Che’ who won two consecutive gold medals at the Olympics, making her the first Thai athlete and a history that must be recorded.
