Bangkok, Oct 15 – Revealing the reason why “Gen. Pisal” sent a resignation letter to Pheu Thai, claiming to be sick and recuperating, the issue of the Tak Bai case was used to move the party, while “Khajit Chainikhom” is about to be promoted to MP.

Gen. Pisal Wattanawongkiri, former MP of the Pheu Thai Party, has sent a resignation letter to the Pheu Thai Party, stating in the document that the news reported that he was a suspect in a criminal case of the Narathiwat Provincial Court, an incident that occurred in 2004.

As I am currently undergoing treatment for my illness and am recuperating, I have submitted my resignation to the House of Representatives and have received approval according to the regulations. However, I have come to the realization that there has been an attempt to use my issue to move forward, which will result in the expansion of conflict in society and there will be connections to affect the Pheu Thai Party, of which I am a member and hold the position of Member of the House of Represen
tatives, even though the Pheu Thai Party has nothing to do with the matter whatsoever.

Therefore, I see that in order for the Pheu Thai Party not to be affected by me and the incident that occurred, I would like to resign from being a member of the Pheu Thai Party. At the same time, it is considered a loss of membership as a member of the House of Representatives, so as not to be a burden to the House of Representatives. This is effective from now on, dated 14 October 2024.

For the lawsuit that has occurred, I will come to clarify it myself when my illness has improved. Therefore, I would like to inform you and please proceed according to the relevant legal regulations.

The reporter reported that the next MP on the party list to replace General Pisal is Mr. Khachit Chainikhom, the 37th MP on the Pheu Thai Party’s party list, which Mr. Khachit has already been informed of. It is expected that there will be a process to move the order of the party list MPs to inform the House of Representatives meeting next
