Reporters reported before the first Senate meeting, which had an agenda to elect the Senate president and vice president, that Ms. Kornkunlakjit Ruangkitpaisan, or Aunt Lee, a large-scale salt farmer in Na Kluea Village No. 5, Ban Bo Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province, a former Senate candidate from the group of 5 farmers who were eliminated, brought flower salt from Samut Sakhon Province to wait to receive fellow members who became senators and gave it to everyone.
Ms. Kornkunlakjit told reporters that she wanted to give it to her friends as a gift and encouragement. The flower of salt she gave had already been blessed, showing its purity.
