Flash floods in various areas of Chompoo Subdistrict, Noen Maprang District, Phitsanulok Province, flooded the Kok Mai Daeng-Noen Maprang Road, 50-70 cm higher. Evacuation of people along the canal has begun.

Progress of flash floods in many areas of Chompoo Subdistrict, Noen Maprang District, Phitsanulok Province, especially in Ban Samrang, Village No. 15, Chompoo Subdistrict, the water level of the flash flood that has flooded the road surface, Kok Mai Daeng – Noen Maprang, is currently higher than 50-70 cm. along the distance of more than 1 kilometer. Small cars cannot pass from kilometer 10 heading to Noen Maprang Market because the water level is continuously rising. As for pickup trucks, they can still drive normally. Currently, there are rescue volunteers at Noen Maprang point who are informing people traveling on the said route to avoid or take a detour and to drive with caution.

The district chief of Noen Maprang said that the water level in Khlong Chompoo is now 8 meters high, just above the bri
dge. He has now notified local leaders in the area, villages in the middle of the river, and villages downstream to prepare for the water and move their belongings to higher ground. Meanwhile, people living along the banks of Khlong Chompoo have already started evacuating to evacuation centers or the Ban Chompoo temple hall.
