The owner of a gas station on the Bangkok-Nonthaburi Road in Mueang District, Nonthaburi Province, warned of a tragedy! Two teenagers drove a sedan to fill up with gas, paid with counterfeit banknotes, and sped away.

CCTV footage captured a white Toyota Vios sedan with two teenage boys driving in to fill up with 1,000 baht worth of E20 fuel. After filling up, the teenagers handed the gas station attendant a 1,000 baht note before driving away. An inspection later found that the note was counterfeit. The incident occurred in the middle of the night on October 7 at a gas station on the Bangkok-Nonthaburi Road in Tambon Bang Khen, Amphoe Mueang, Nonthaburi Province.

Later, Ms. Ai, the daughter of the gas station owner, filed a complaint with the Muang Nonthaburi Police Station and said that the gas station employee brought the banknote to her at the cashier’s desk. She found that the banknote was unusual. When she checked it, she found that it was counterfeit. She wanted the police to help track down the two
teenagers. Even though the amount was not much, the employees had to be responsible. Some places would deduct money. She felt sorry for her employees and could only tell them to be more careful and not to deduct money.

The gas station attendant who received the counterfeit banknote revealed that it is already difficult to earn a monthly salary, and when this kind of incident happens, he feels bad and sad, even though his employer does not deduct money.

Previously, a convenience store was hit by a thief who used four counterfeit 1,000-baht banknotes to buy things, totaling 4,000 baht. In the chaos, the staff accepted the money without noticing, until they later found out that it was counterfeit, so they reported it to the police, but the investigation team has not been able to arrest the thief.
