Famous Malaysian Singer Arrested with 6,000 Methamphetamine Pills: Fans in Tears.


Narathiwat: A famous Malaysian singer, along with six others, was arrested with over 6,000 methamphetamine pills, leading to an emotional scene at Su-ngai Kolok Police Station as fans gathered in support. The singer, a 28-year-old, was apprehended with his group in a hotel room in Su-ngai Kolok District, Narathiwat Province. The arrest prompted a large turnout of fans and relatives from Kelantan, Malaysia, who came to provide moral support.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Col. Niti Suksan, deputy chief of the Suppression Division, led a team of more than 50 special operations police officers to manage the crowd of over 100 fans. The singer and his group were taken into custody and escorted to the Narathiwat Court. Officers ensured the crowd was kept at bay as the group was transported discreetly, wearing hats and sunglasses to conceal their identities.

The case has garnered significant attention in Malaysia, with several Malaysian police officers and media representatives present at the police stati
on. Malaysian authorities have been investigating the individuals for alleged involvement in drug activities. Despite the arrest, none of the accused have confessed to owning the methamphetamine pills, and evidence is being prepared for court proceedings.

Drug tests revealed the presence of narcotics in all six individuals, leading to charges of jointly distributing and using Category 1 narcotics, specifically methamphetamine. Additionally, two of the suspects face charges related to illegal entry and residence in Thailand, while the remaining four had entered the country legally.
