DSI searches ‘Boss Lab’ company that manages back-end systems for ‘The Icon’

DSI expanded its investigation to search the company ‘Boss Lab’, one of the 18 suspects, whose duties include developing the website and maintaining the back-end system of ‘The Icon’, in order to find important evidence. Initially, computer equipment and servers were seized for examination.

Pol. Lt. Col. Wisanu Chimtrakul, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation, along with Pol. Lt. Col. Woranan Srilam, Director of the Informal Financial Business Crime Division and Spokesperson of the Department of Special Investigation, led forces with court warrants to search two target areas to search computer equipment and find additional evidence to prosecute The Icon Group Company.

The first point is a company in the area of ??Tambon Prachathipat, Amphoe Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani Province, which is a website design and development company that works for The Icon Group Co., Ltd.

The second location is the company, Serverich Co., Ltd., in Soi Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok 34, Thanyaburi District, Path
um Thani Province, which belongs to ‘Boss Lab’, Mr. Jiravat, a programmer and one of the 18 suspects. Boss Lab is the back-end program administrator for The Icon Group.

In the search of both locations, officers obtained information from witnesses in the case and found that some of the items were smuggled out in an Alphard van last Sunday, but the server with all the information was still there. Officers from the Institute of Forensic Medicine will use the information to investigate what important information is left.

The back-end system that will prove the facts about the wrongdoing in this case and is expected to have the data of the master network members, including the company’s financial path, especially the second point, which is expected to be the workplace of the programmer team because the work desk has various codes that access the computer system data.
