DDPM reports 13 provinces still flooded, urgently helping those affected

DDPM reported that there was a flood situation in 13 provinces. They are expediting assistance to alleviate the suffering of the victims continuously and are staying to help restore the affected areas to return to normal as soon as possible.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported that there was a flood situation in 13 provinces: Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Sukhothai, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Suphan Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, and Nakhon Pathom, totaling 56 districts, 293 sub-districts, 1,455 villages, with 49,724 affected households. Officials and disaster relief machinery were dispatched to drain water from the area, provide assistance and alleviate the suffering of the affected people, and continuously and fully restore areas where the situation has improved to return to normal.

nces including Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Tak, Phayao, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Phetchabun, Loei, Udon Thani, Kalasin, Nong Khai, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Maha Sarakham, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Ubon Ratchathani, Prachin Buri, Chainat, Sing Buri, Suphan Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Pathum Thani, Rayong, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Phuket, Yala, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang, Satun and Songkhla. A total of 281 districts, 1,245 sub-districts, 6,488 villages, 254,734 households were affected, with a total of 53 deaths and 28 injuries. Flooding is still occurring in 13 provinces including Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Sukhothai, Chainat, Singburi, Suphanburi, Angthong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Nakhon Pathom, total affected areas: 56 districts, 293 sub-districts, 1,455 villages, 49,724 affected households, separated as follows
:

North: 7 provinces, 27 districts, 96 sub-districts, 462 villages, 10,446 affected households.

1) Chiang Rai: Flooding occurred in 6 districts: Mae Sai, Mueang, Mae Lao, Wiang Pa Pao, Wiang Chai and Chiang Saen, totaling 17 sub-districts, 80 villages, 1,046 affected households. The

areas are being restored. 2) Chiang Mai: Flooding occurred in 4 districts: Saraphi, Hang Dong, San Pa Tong and Mueang, totaling 24 sub-districts, 166 villages, 2,927 affected households. The areas are being restored.

3) Lamphun: Flooding occurred in Mueang, totaling 6 sub-districts, 32 villages, 1,601 affected households. The water level is rising.

4) Lampang: Flooding occurred in Mae Phrik District, totaling 1 sub-district, 1 village. The water level is decreasing.

5) Phitsanulok: Flooding occurred in 7 districts: Phrom Phiram, Bang Rakam, Mueang, 6) Sukhothai: Flooding occurred in 7 districts : Sawankhalok, Si Samrong, Mueang, Si Satchanalai, Kong Krailat

Central region: 6 provinces, 29 districts, 197 sub-districts, 993 villages, 39,278 households affected.

1) Chainat: flooding in 4 districts: Mueang, Manorom, Watsing and Sapphaya, 16 sub-districts, 49 villages, 755 households affected, water level stable.

2) Sing Buri: flooding in 3 districts: In Buri, Mueang and Phrom Buri, 4 sub-districts, 14 villages, 596 households affected, water level stable.

3) Suphan Buri: flooding in 8 districts: Doembang Nangbuat, Bang Pla Ma, Song Phi Nong, Si Prachan, Sam Chuk, Mueang, U Thong and Don Chedi, 43 sub-districts, 211 villages, 6,892 households affected, water level stable.

4) Ang Thong: flooding in 4 districts: Wiset Chai Chan, Chaiyo, 5) Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya: Flooding occurred in 7 districts: Bang Ban, Phak Hai, Sena, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Bang
Pa-in , Bang Sai, and Bang Pa-han. Totaling 102 sub-districts, 601 villages, 29,430

households were affected. The water level rose.

6) Nakhon Pathom: Flooding occurred in 3 districts: Nakhon Chai Si, Bang Len, and Kamphaeng Saen. Totaling 10 sub-districts, 43 villages, 620 households were affected. The water level remained stable.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has mobilized all operational personnel and disaster machinery, such as the KA-32 disaster prevention and mitigation helicopter, long-range water pumps, water pumps, disaster relief vehicles, rapid rescue vehicles, drinking water production vehicles, 200 KVA electric lighting vehicles, small trucks, rapid boat towing vehicles, flat-bottomed boats, and water rescue equipment to provide assistance and relieve the suffering of people in disaster-stricken areas. They have also deployed high-lift hydraulic excavators, multi-purpose wheel loaders, wheelbase-adjustable rescue wheel loaders, crawler trucks, dump trucks, and long
-arm hydraulic excavators to quickly remove soil, mud, debris, and debris, as well as level and rehabilitate roads and buildings in areas where the situation has improved so that people can return to their normal lives as soon as possible.
