Most of the senators who won the position of committee chairman came from the blue group, which had been previously selected. Only the Labor Committee, which was originally selected for Mr. Chinchote Saengsang, withdrew from the competition this time, so Mr. Wirat Rakphan, who was a former deputy governor of Phatthalung, became the Labor Committee chairman, but he still remained in the blue group of senators.

The chairman of the Committee on Political Development was originally set to be Mr. Nifarid Raden Ahmad, but when the meeting to select the chairman of the committee was held, he was changed to Mr. Wirasa
k Wichitsangsri, who was chosen twice because he received 9 votes to 9 in both rounds, so a lottery had to be used. Ms. Angkhana Neelapaijit won the draw, making her the chairman of the Committee on Political Development.
