Mexico city: The Chaba Kaew women’s football team, led by acting head coach Nuengruethai Sathongvian, is set to face Venezuela in the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S PREPARATION MATCH tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, the Thai U-17 men’s team is preparing to compete against Turkmenistan in the Asian Championship qualifiers this evening.

According to Thai News Agency, Coach Nuengruethai, also known as “Coach One,” conducted the final training session at the Mexican Football Federation’s stadium, focusing on enhancing the team’s tactical understanding and strengthening team relationships. The session lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes, emphasizing both offensive and defensive strategies. Coach Nuengruethai expressed confidence in the players’ improving physical condition, asserting that they are nearing full readiness for the match against Venezuela. Despite initial adjustments to jet lag, the team has acclimated well to local conditions. The coach aims to assess the players’ ability to respond to modern football tactics, particul
arly in transitioning between offensive and defensive plays.

The Thai team is scheduled to play Venezuela at High Performance Stadium at 5:00 a.m. Thai time on October 24, followed by a match against Mexico on October 30 at Nemesio Diez Stadium at 8:00 a.m. Thai time.

In parallel, the Thai U-17 men’s football team is set to meet Turkmenistan in the first qualifying round of the AFC U-17 Championship. Training took place at the National Sports University, Chonburi Campus, focusing on refining set pieces and other details. Team captain Danuphol Bubpha stated that the goal is to secure 3 points in this match to boost team confidence. The match against Turkmenistan will be held at Chonburi Stadium at 8:00 p.m. today.
