BANGKOK: The Central Investigation Bureau has issued a stern warning to police officers across all stations to ensure the acceptance of reports related to the “The Icon” case, highlighting the consequences of non-compliance as including detention and imprisonment.

According to Thai News Agency, the directive was issued following the gathering of numerous victims at the Crime Suppression Division building to file complaints. The Crime Suppression Division has announced it will be accepting complaints until 4:00 p.m. today and will continue from 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. The urgency and seriousness of the matter were underscored by the Bureau’s emphasis on the legal repercussions for officers who fail to obey this order, which includes penalties such as detention, confinement, or imprisonment.

Victims of the Icon Group case have been encouraged to report to any police station. Should an officer refuse to accept a report, they will face charges of disobeying an official order. This move by the Central Investigation
