Gen Wich Thephasadin Na Ayudhya, former advisor to the Palang Pracharath Party, spoke about his trip as a representative of Gen Prawit Wongsuwan, president of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, to take athletes to meet Prime Minister Settha Thavisin to receive advice before traveling to compete in the Olympics in Paris, France. He said that today’s trip had no issues because Gen Prawit had urgent business and was therefore unable to travel to join the ceremony.

When asked if there was any problem with Gen Prawit not attending the event today, Gen Wich said that this matter was unrelated. Sports are sports. But today, he had other commitments, so he assigned him to do the job instead.

en. Wich said that we have never discussed this issue. Right now, he is only working on sports. Today, he has a message for the Olympic athletes who will compete this time: prepare yourself as best you can, be determined, and bring home the gold medal.

When asked if Gen Prawit is still healthy and ready to work in politics, Gen Wich said, ‘He is still healthy.’

As for the chance that Gen Prawit will meet the Prime Minister, Gen Wich said that it depends on the free time of both of them. If they have free time, they can meet. However, he does not know the date because both of them have their own engagements and free time does not match up.

When asked what Gen Prawit had said about the Prime Minister, Gen Wich said that he had never told him because he was not involved in politics. Today, the Prime Minister thanked him for taking care of the athletes who will compete in the Olympics this time.
