Gen Prawit Wongsuwan, a party-list MP and leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, spoke after walking off the stage after the party’s general meeting, answering reporters’ questions about the party’s future after he reiterated that there would be no more divisions. Gen Prawit simply said, ‘It’s done.’
When asked what would happen next in the case of Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, MP for Phayao and former party secretary, Gen. Prawit spoke forcefully, ‘As for Thammanat, go ask Thammanat.’
Then, Gen. Prawit walked to the interview spot and reiterated the party’s ideology, saying that we adhere to the monarchy and will protect it and honor it first, before raising his hands in a wai above his head.
Then, the reporters tried to question Lt. Col. Thammanat again, but Gen. Prawit did not answer the question before getting into his car and leaving, waving to party
members.
