Bangkok, BAAC-Napha Foundation-GSB trains to create new lives, create opportunities for inmates at Rayong Central Prison after their release.

Mr. Kittipong Buranasiri, Deputy General Manager, Strategy and Product Division, Small Industry Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG), Mr. Nattapol Pisitwanich, Executive Director, Napha Foundation under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, Director, National Savings Fund (NSF), Mr. Prasert Kaewrak, Deputy Commander of Rayong Central Prison, Mrs. Rattana Rotsri, Director of Prisoner Development Division, Rayong Central Prison, and Ms. Pan-on Kitpitak, Director of Prisoner Welfare and Welfare Group, jointly opened the training of the 5th year of the New Life Project at Rayong Central Prison. Mr. Thiapjit Chantraphutipholakorn, an expert from the SME Financial Advisory Center, was a lecturer to provide knowledge on finance, access to sources of funds, and preparation before becoming an entrepreneur through a game to create
a new life that will turn the knowledge gained from the training into missions in the game, including learning how to save money after retirement. From the National Savings Fund (NSF) to prepare a group of more than 60 male and female prisoners who are about to be released from prison to enter sustainable future career development at Rayong Central Prison on July 31, 2024.

The SME Bank also supports the creation of new lives for inmates, helping to provide capital to those who need loans to start a career or do business after their release through the Smart Gen loan guarantee project for small entrepreneurs who start new businesses (not older than 3 years), guaranteeing from 10,000 to 500,000 baht per person, and the Small Biz loan guarantee project for small entrepreneurs in the Micro group, guaranteeing from 10,000 to 200,000 baht per person, with no guarantee fee for the first 2 years. Inmates who have the opportunity to return to society can receive free consultations on accessing sources of capital at t
he SME Financial Advisory Center and the 11 SME Bank district offices nationwide.
