Arrest warrants to be issued for 6 masterminds of illegal oil tanker theft plot, found to have been in progress since May.

Pol. Col. Anek Taosuphap, deputy commander of the Crime Suppression Division, held a meeting on the case of 15 crew members who stole three oil tankers and escaped with oil. In this case, the police arrested eight suspects along with the vessels, while seven crew members escaped. The meeting took almost two hours. He revealed that the purpose of the meeting was to expedite the case and consider evidence from the investigation of those involved. From the evidence obtained, arrest warrants will be issued for six people involved in the plan to escape the ships from the pier. It was found that the plan was in place since May. The six planners are new individuals who have been linked to them by evidence. Two of them have already fled abroad, while the rest are still in Thailand. They are currently collecting the case and submitting it to the prosecutor. It is expected that the case will be i
ssued no later than this Friday. The latest within the next week is the arrest warrants for being the users and supporters of others in committing the crime.

As for Mr. Joe, who has been noted to have national politicians supporting his escape, Pol. Col. Anek stated that he is not worried and if the evidence is available, legal action will be taken. As for the seven suspects who escaped while stealing a boat, it is known that after stealing the boat, they fled on another boat. They are currently being tracked down to be prosecuted as well.
