Reporters reported that in the meeting of the Flood, Storm and Landslide Relief Operation Center (FSOC), Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, assigned Mr. Arsit Sampantharat, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, to travel to Chiang Rai to supervise the operation because Mr. Putthipong Sirimat, Governor of Chiang Rai Province, has not driven the work due to illness and waiting for the retirement date on September 30. In addition, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior has been assigned to act as an acting official from October 1 onwards.
