Government House, 8 Oct. – “Anutin”, Minister of Interior, confirmed that the appointment of high-ranking executives of the Ministry of Interior followed normal procedures. There was no one line, only the line of the Minister of Interior.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview about the appointment of high-ranking executives of the Ministry of Interior, with the governor of Buriram Province as the director-general of the Department of Local Administration. He said that the appointments follow a normal cycle because this year there are 30 vacant governor positions. Currently, 25 positions have just been appointed. Since there are many disasters, the real person must be hired as soon as possible because the acting position cannot be filled to the brim. Everything is done according to the process and according to what it should be, which must include efficiency, experience, seniority, and dedication.

As for the focus on Buriram Governor to become Director-General
of the Department of Local Administration, Mr. Anutin asked back whether Buriram Province is prosperous and that people who used to be governors of other provinces have also been promoted.

While it was noted that the appointment of the Interior Ministry’s senior executives this time was a transfer of Mr. Suttipong Julcharoen, former Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry, to be removed from all positions, Mr. Anutin stated that there is no one’s line. If today, it must be the Interior Minister’s line. Everyone in the Interior Ministry, as long as the Interior Minister is still there, must be the Interior Minister’s line. Must be able to work and receive policies. He confirmed that there is no one’s line. He does not see anyone as anyone’s line. -314.-Thai News Agency
